Regensburg
This quaint little city of 140,000 on the river Danube was completely spared in WWII. So it's streets, buildings and architecture date back to medieval times and even the Roman empire.

The Bavarians can't wait a whole year for Octoberfest, so they have a second one in May.

It almost goes without saying, the sausages are fabulous.

The old cathedral.

Time to sing boys, put those cigarettes out.

A walk along the Danube.

Time to bail the hay.

All done.

The forests of Bavaria.

A wild boar in the forest.

Medieval ruins.

An old tractor.
