This is how we spent many a pleasant afternoon in Paris ... sitting in street cafes, enjoying the weather and watching the world go by.

And when the world goes by in Paris, it will definitely get your attention.

Of course, it's not possible to go to Paris without returning with one of these photos. I was absolutely horrified by the addition of a Millennium count down clock to the Eiffel Tower. "This space available! Call 01.43.FRENCH.SELL.OUT!"

Here are my friends Pascal (left) and Martin. Martin is looking like a proud father with his newly acquired bottle of vintage champagne that he plans to open at his New Millennium's Eve party.

This is our new friend Xavier Joao. We met him in a tourist trinket shop and got to talking. That night we all went dancing together at The Queen, a famous Paris disco.
