In 1996 I visited France twice. Looking back, I realize these trips, with my cheap 35mm point-and-shoot camera in hand,  enticed me to see the world through the eyes of a photographer for the first time.

While these are not my best photos to be sure, I do have a certain fondness for some of them and the beginning of the wonderful journey they represent. I hope you find a few you enjoy.
